LuLu & Luigi is named for two rescued pets: LuLu (a Maltese) and Luigi (a ragamuffin). With trend-setting items and premium quality foods, LuLu & Luigi offers unique, high-end gifts and accessories “for discriminating pets and the people who love them.®
My husband Paul, and I, bought Lulu & Luigi from Karen Howe and Liz Sand in May of 2010. I have been involved with this great business in many different ways since 2006 - as a loyal customer, a sales associate, a manager, and now the owner. Our passion for this business arrived in 2005 when we brought our Havanese, Choco (affectionately known as "Chuckie"), home. Our love for him and the unconditional love we receive in return is something so special, we wanted to be involved with a community of pet owners who share our passion and want to provide only the best for their little loved ones.
Paul and I will continue to build on the great work Karen and Liz did to create such a fantastic experience for pets, their owners, and our employees.

Karen‘s years of design and retail management were instrumental in building the brand of LuLu & Luigi, LLC. LuLu & Luigi, LLC the store “for discriminating pets and the people who love them®” was opened the fall of 2003 in St. Louis Park, MN. Research, store design, personnel, training, operations and expansion were Karen’s role.
Liz Sand, Founder/Director of Marketing:
Liz spent six years working in direct marketing for several leading commercial and retail companies in Chicago. As a life-long animal lover, Liz understood people’s desire to have the best for their furry companions and saw a need in the marketplace. With an eye for unique merchandise and trends, Liz enjoys doing the marketing and events for the store.
