Our St. Louis Park store and our corporate offices/warehouse will be moving October 1, 2008!

Our lease is up and we have leased a free-standing building 4 blocks east of Excelsior & Grand that will not only house our boutique, but a new grooming Pawlour and our warehouse and offices (in the lower level)

The address is 3699 Joppa Avenue and it is on the corner of Excelsior Blvd and Joppa. (Traditions is our next door neighbor)

We have a parking lot AND street parking. Lots of windows and light, and a courtyard to boot!

We are extremely excited about this and will be starting our build-out in the coming weeks.

PUPPY PRIMARY: THIS ELECTION IS GOING TO THE DOGS
LuLu & Luigi Lets Your Pooch Cast a Vote

Don’t let your pup feel left out as you head to the polls on Super Tuesday (Feb. 5). All the presidential candidates have been trying to drum up support from key constituents in time for primaries, but they seem to have forgotten about the canine vote! Well, LuLu & Luigi has just the solution: a puppy primary.

In tandem with the introduction of political pet treats, clothing, and accessories at their stores, LuLu & Luigi is inviting dogs to stop by either location and cast a vote. Your pooch will be presented with two snacks: a donkey-shaped “Democrat” biscuit, and a elephant-shaped “Republican” cookie. Whichever your pooch eats first will be counted as their party preferente, and their “vote” shall be cast. Indecisive dogs—the picky eaters—will be recorded as Independents.

Voting begins Wednesday, Jan. 30 and continues through Tuesday, Feb. 5. After the puppy polls close (at 6 p.m. in Wayzata and at 7 p.m. in St. Louis Park), votes will be tallied, and a winner shall be announced. Just like their human counterparts, dogs can cast only one vote.

LuLu & Luigi is named after two rescued pets: LuLu (a Maltese) and Luigi (a ragamuffin). The mother- and daughter-owned pet boutique features unique, high-end gifts and accessories “for discriminating pets and the people who love them.”

The Twin Cities boasts two LuLu & Luigi locales at Excelsior & Grand at 3844 Grand Way in St. Louis Park and Wayzata Village Shoppes at 812 East Lake Street in Wayzata.

Wednesday (Feb. 6) Super Tuesday Results:
Republican=38
Democrats=29
Independent= 33
