New Puppy Checklist
Congratulations! You have a new puppy. Sometimes it can be very overwhelming especially if you are a new pet owner. This puppy checklist is designed to help you choose must have items that will keep you and your new puppy happy.
* Bed—something to lay on
* Brush, Comb, & Conditioning Spray – It’s important to start grooming young especially if your puppy has a long coat because they can matt. While at Lulu & Luigi schedule your new puppy for a “Puppy’s 1st Pawlour Visit.” This visit will help your puppy get accustomed to the sights and sounds of the Pawlour which can be scary for little pups. During this visit our Stylists will give your dog a bath, brush, nail trim, and do a little trimming near the eyes and rear.
* Carrier or Tote — It’s best to get your puppy accustomed to a carrier or tote young as it will help if you decide to travel with your companion
* Chew Toys and Treats – You need to keep your new puppy busy otherwise he will find his own entertainment and that can mean the demise of your favorite shoes
* Collar or Harness — Our pet loving associates will help you determine which option is best for your puppy
* Crate
* Crate Mat
* Dog Car Seat — Puppies need seat belts too
* Identification Tags (We can make them while you wait)
* Leash
